SCUBAWEEK Ibiza 2026

From 20 to 25 October, Ibiza dives back into the underwater world with SCUBAWEEK 2026, a week dedicated to diving, science, marine biodiversity and Mediterranean conservation.

This edition brings two major new features: an underwater photography and video competition under the slogan "The Sea in Your Hands" and the first SCUBAWEEK EXPO, bringing together professionals, companies and associations from the sector at Sa Peixateria.

The programme also includes educational workshops, audiovisual activities, talks and events designed to bring marine culture closer to residents and visitors.

• 20 October · Underwater Photography and Video Competition

Diving sessions to discover and capture Ibiza's marine biodiversity using smartphones and DIVEVOLK underwater housings. The footage will be turned into videos to share on social media.

• 22 October · SCUBAWEEK EXPLORA

9:30 am – 12:30 pm · Jesús Cultural Centre Auditorium

A morning dedicated to young people and school groups, featuring an introductory diving masterclass, interactive underwater physics experiments, art workshops using plastic recovered from the sea and screenings showcasing Ibiza's seabed.

• 24 October · SCUBAWEEK EXPO

3:30 pm – 10:00 pm · Sa Peixateria, Ibiza Town

The main new feature of this edition will bring together talks on underwater photography, the environment and underwater archaeology, alongside science and creative recycling workshops, exhibitions and presentations by companies from the diving sector.

The event will also feature a diving masterclass, poetry dedicated to Posidonia seagrass and, at 9:00 pm, a short film screening followed by the audiovisual competition awards ceremony.

Open to residents and visitors, with no pre-registration required.

• 25 October · SCUBAWEEK FORUM

10:30 am · Hotel Royal Plaza, Ibiza Town

A round-table discussion focusing on recreational diving safety and improving training standards, providing an opportunity to share experiences and knowledge.

Advance booking required. Limited places available.

SCUBAWEEK is an initiative created by Jaume Torres Roig, head of Anfibios Ibiza, and organised by Fomento del Turismo de Ibiza through Enjoy Ibiza Activities, in collaboration with Anfibios Ibiza, with funding from the Consell Insular d'Eivissa and institutional support from the town councils of Santa Eulària des Riu and Eivissa.
