Everyone is invited to enjoy the experience of watching the balloons take off and the Night Glow. The event is a demonstration to marvel at the spectacular sight of balloons filling the sky.
From September 26 to 28, Ibiza will experience for the first time the magic of the Ibiza Balloon Festival, a free event that will transform the island’s sky into a canvas full of colors, lights, and emotions. For three days, residents and visitors will enjoy a unique visual program that will bring together eight international hot air balloon teams, combining breathtaking sunrises, family activities, and a grand finale under the stars.
Every morning, starting at 6:00 am, attendees will be able to witness the pilots’ briefing, the inflation of the balloons, and their joint take-off at sunrise — an awe-inspiring moment that allows everyone to see the island from a whole new perspective. Although flights are not for sale due to the limited size of the baskets, three double seats have been raffled so that a few lucky participants can experience the adventure in the air.
The highlight of the festival will take place on Saturday, September 27 in the evening with the much-anticipated Ibiza Night Glow, held in Ses Variades (San Antonio). From 6:00 pm, there will be chill-out music, children’s activities, and food trucks, followed by an acrobatics show with DJ Cris 44. At 9:00 pm, the visual spectacle will reach its peak with balloons illuminated to the rhythm of music by La Movida.
The festival will conclude on Sunday, September 28 at 12:00 am with a closing event at the Aguas de Ibiza hotel, wrapping up three days in which the island will have looked up to the sky like never before.
